Craig Silverstein Addresses Energy Bar Association on Reliability Standards

As a precursor to the Sixty-Fourth Annual Meeting of the Energy Bar Association , on April 28, 2010, EBA held a Reliability Primer for Lawyers and Energy Professionals., focusing on the role that energy lawyers have in protecting clients’ interests in avoiding penalties and in the regulatory hurdles surrounding audits and investigations. The meeting was well attended by practitioners, Regional Entity staffers, NERC and FERC compliance personnel and administrative law judges. Craig Silverstein was a presenter as part of a spirited panel of distinguished attorneys and compliance officers. The area of reliability continues to be a focus of the Congress and FERC. Mr. Silverstein has participated in several audits, including audits associated with cyber security, over the past three years.
