Jeffrey K. Janicke represents electric and natural gas entities in various regulatory and transactional matters. His practice is focused on proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, including matters relating to rate and tariff revisions, mergers and acquisitions, and securities issuances. He has participated in multiple court appeals of FERC matters, as well as in several FERC rulemaking proceedings. Mr. Janicke also negotiates power supply agreements and other energy-related contracts. His clients include municipalities, electric cooperatives, trade associations, a joint action agency, and an independent system administrator. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate at Dow, Lohnes and Albertson, PLLC, and a law clerk to the District Court of Maryland in Annapolis.
